IMPHAL, April 1 � An IED blast took place in the residence of a transport contractor on Tuesday evening.
The victim of this latest bomb scare is Th Dojendro (48), of Kiyamgei Maning Leikai Lairam Wangma here. The IED was fitted in his Ecosport car, which was parked at the gate of his residence. The IED blasted at around 7.30 pm last night causing a big damage to his car. However, no casualty was reported.
CCTV footage fitted in the entrance of the Food and Civil Supplies department contractor�s home showed an unidentified man placing the IED under the car, just minutes prior to the blast.
