GUWAHATI, Nov 20 The North East Computer Traders' Association has expressed its protest against the predatory pricing of branded IT products (PCs, laptops and peripherals) by the online retailers in the country and decided to observe complete trade bandh on November 24 in entire North East region.

Online retailers, according to the association, are threatening the very survival of thousands of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in India employing lakhs of workers.

Announcing its solidarity with other IT associations in the country, NECTA has warned that if adequate measures were not taken by brands and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of IT products by November 24 to curb predatory pricing of IT products, the entire channel community in the region would join hands across India and stop doing business, a press release stated.
