DIBRUGARH, July 17 - The State government today handed over bank documents of transferring an amount of Rs 5 lakhs to the next of kin of Lalima Devi (62), who was reportedly raped and murdered on July 11 in a train.
The documents sealed in an envelop was handed over to the aggrieved family at their rented house in no. 2 Kodomoni here today. Jitendra Kumar Singh, the eldest son of the deceased, received the documents on behalf of the family.
