GUWAHATI, May 29 � Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Thursday congratulated General VK Singh, Sarbananda Sonowal and Kiren Rijiju for being inducted into the Union Council of Ministers as Ministers of State.
In a statement here, Chief Minister Gogoi, while congratulating General Singh, Sonowal and Rijiju, expressed the hope that Assam in particular and the North East region as a whole would make further progress in the spheres of infrastructure development, sports, skill and entrepreneurial development and improvement on the law-and-order front, said an official press release here.
