GUWAHATI, Dec 4 - The Sashastra Seema Bal, frontier headquarters, Guwahati is organising a swachhata abhiyan from December 1 to 15 in various places of Guwahati.
On Friday, a cleaning drive at the Basistha temple premises and in other nearby temples was carried out.
All officers and jawans of Frontier Headquarters took part in the drive in the presence of Inspector General Sanjeev Sharma, Commandant (Medical) Dr PM Kabui and other senior officers.
The motto of this cleaning drive was to promote hygiene education among the public, to maintain cleanliness all around and to achieve the objective of attaining a clean country and a clean world.
