JORABAT, Sept 29 - The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today carried out a cleanliness drive at the Special DG Office, North East Command, Guwahati, under the �Swachhta Hi Sewa� drive.
The programme was organised by CRPF personnel under the aegis of the CRPF Special DG, NE Command, Guwahati.
Md Jawed Akhtar, ADG (Spl DG, NE Zone, Guwahati), NK Singh, DGP and others participated in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Akhtar talked about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. He said cleanliness leaves a positive impact on the society and appealed to the people to inculcate the habit of keeping their surroundings clean.
Akhtar also thanked all the officers and jawans for successfully organising the �Swachhta Hi Sewa� drive.
