GUWAHATI, April 9 - The Guwahati Press Club has condemned the incident of Guwahati-based photo-journalist Mahesh Choudhury of GL Publications being threatened in the line of duty by some anti-social elements this morning.
�It has been learnt that the senior photo-journalist was threatened of dire consequences when he was trying to capture some clicks near Manipuri Basti locality today. We condemn the act of intimidation and urge the police to investigate the matter and bring the culprits to book at the earliest,� GPC general secretary Sanjoy Ray said in a statement.
An FIR has been lodged in this connection with the local police station.
