GUWAHATI, July 12 - Balendra Mohan Chakravorty, Director of the Abhiruchi Institute of Physical Education has been included as a member of the All India Council of Sports (AICS).
Sporting icons like Sachin Tendulkar, Viswanathan Anand, PT Usha, Limba Ram, Pulela Gopichand, Baichung Bhutia among others are the members of the newly formed committee.
Former Union Minister Birendra Prasad Baishya is the other member from Assam who has been included in the panel, stated a release.
