Centre to seek cadre list from ULFA

Update: 2010-09-15 00:00 GMT

GUWAHATI, Sept 1 The Government of India will ask the leaders of the pro-talk faction of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) to submit a detailed list of its cadres in the next meeting to be held in New Delhi on September 3.

Official sources said that the Government would not allow the ULFA leaders to carry weapons after the signing of the agreement for suspension of operations and they would be provided PSO, if necessary. However, it is still not decided whether the weapons in possession of the outfit would be kept in the strong rooms of the police stations or in double lock system in the designated camps.
