GUWAHATI, Sept 26 - A high level team comprising Central and State Governments representatives led by the advisor of Union Finance Ministry Dina Nath started visiting the flood affected areas of the State since yesterday.
The team yesterday visited parts of lower Assam and Majuli and gathered first-hand information about several flood hit areas. The team also inspected the embankments in Majuli and the damages flood had caused.
