GUWAHATI, Sept 27: The CBSE Far East Swimming Meet 2016 will be held at the Royal Global School here from September 28 to October 1.
Over 500 students from 60 schools from 11 States � Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura and West Bengal will take part in this event from which the selected players will compete in the national level later this year.
The meet will be inaugurated by Hitendra Nath Goswami, MLA, Jorhat in presence of Sanjib Das, regional officer, CBSE Guwahati Region; AK Pansari, chairman, Royal Global School; AK Modi, co-chairman, Royal Global School; Anubha Goyal, principal, Royal Global school and a of host of other dignitaries.
