GUWAHATI, May 30 - Young Indians (Yi), the youth arm of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) is organising a three-day �Stub it! Before it stubs you,� a �No Tobacco Day� campaign, across the city with ten cafes, restaurants and hotels on board on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day.
Today on the second day of the campaign, a learning session with Dr Sushil Agarwalla on how to quit smoking was discussed with corporate house Dalmia Cement�s employees and members.
Vivanta by Taj, Repose Cygnet, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Underdoggs, Mocha, Xs, Terra Mayaa, 11th Avenue Cafe, Corner Cafe, By The Way and Brown Bean Cafe actively participated in the campaign.
The participants also called for immediate implementation of the pictorial warnings on cigarette packs to send a strong message on the perils of smoking.
