GUWAHATI, Sept 22 � BACE Expo 2011, a significant trade show of the region on building architecture, construction and engineering products and technology, will be held from September 23 to 25 at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre here.
The expo will provide a forum to exhibitors to explore local markets and give an opportunity for an interaction with experts from different parts of the country. Around 100 companies including six from Bangladesh will participate in the three-day event.
The trade show and symposium is being organised by Association of Architects, Assam in collaboration with ASK Trade and Exhibition Private Limited. Architect Pradyut Chandra Moral, president of the association, told reporters that PWD and Urban Development Minister Ajanta Neog would inaugurate the BACE Expo. Minister for Power, Industries and Commerce Pradyut Bordoloi will preside over the valedictory function on September 25.
On September 24 and 25, a symposium titled �BACE conclave� will be held on �Sustainable construction method and emerging building materials� to provide the industry an opportunity to hear from experts and interact with them.
