Brown sugar lab busted in Manipur

IMPHAL, Jan 9 - A team of the Narcotics and Affairs of Border (NAB), Manipur Police, busted a brown sugar laboratory during a raid conducted in Kangpokpi district last night.

The police team was led by Additional SP (NAB) Saklemba RK. The laboratory was located on the slope of the Phaijang hill near Saikul.

In an earlier development, Assam Rifles troops had recovered contraband drugs, including 4,000 suspected WY (World is Yours) tablets and 33 packets of suspected brown sugar weighing around 390 grams and worth Rs 90 lakh, from the Khudengthabi check-post in Tengnoupal district on January 6. � Correspondent
