IMPHAL, June 1 BJP Manipur Pradesh has proposed the suspension of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) 1958 from Manipur in order to save the life of Irom Sharmila.

Besides Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, he also met Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Information and Broadcasting and Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar, DoNER Minister General VK Singh (Retd), Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu, Social Justice Empowerment Minister Th Gehlot and Minister of State (Home) Kiran Rijiju.
