BJP goons attacked May Day functions: CITU

AGARTALA, May 3 - The Tripura unit of CITU has alleged that BJP goons attacked those who joined the Labour Day programmes across the State.

�Many of our leaders and supporters were attacked by BJP goons during flag hoisting, rallies and other events organised to mark the May Day in six districts,� CITU State secretary Shankar Dutta alleged on Wednesday. They were attacked at Dharmanagar in North Tripura district, Teliamura in Khowai district, Amarpur and Ampi in Gomati district, Gandacherra and Kamalpur in Dhalai district, Boxanagar in Sipahijala district, and Dukli in West Tripura district, he claimed. � PTI
