MANGALDAI, Oct 21 - Host Assam restricted Bihar to 168 for 8 on the first day of the ongoing three-day U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy at the Mangaldai Stadium here on Sunday.
Opting to bat first, Bihar lost wickets at regular intervals against a disciplined bowling attack by Assam. Mayukh Hazarika (3/39) and Pritish Raha Roy (2/31) were the key wickettakers for the home team, while Kanishk Kaustabh top scored for Bihar with unbeaten 78.
