GUWAHATI, Jan 26 � Noted actor Baharaul Islam has been chosen for this year�s prestigious Badal Sarkar Rang Ratan Award instituted by the Bihar Government.
Islam has been chosen for the honour in recognition for his contribution to Indian theatre through his innovative endeavours in Assamese theatre, a press release said.
Sanjay Upadhyay, a colleague of Islam at the National School of Drama, New Delhi, has been chosen for the Habib Tanvir Rang Ratan Award.
