BISWANATH CHARIALI, June 1 - The National Environment Awareness Programme was observed recently with a daylong programme at Cherelia ME School at Behali in Biswanath district under the aegis of Nature�s Banyapran in association with Asam Bijnan Samiti with financial assistance from the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
The day�s programmes included plantation, quiz competition and an awareness meet. The awareness meet was held on the topic of �Combating Desertification, Land Degradation and Drought�.
