DIBRUGARH, July 8 � The Assam Tea Tribes� Students Association (ATTSA) on Monday stormed the office of the Assam Chah Mazdoor Sangha (ACMS) at Jibon Phukan Nagar here in protest against the alleged appointment of one Mohsin Riaz Ahmed as an accountant in its head office without conducting any interview.

The ATTSA activists led by its president Prahlad Gowala staged a demonstration for about two hours in front of the office of the ACMS head office. They questioned ACMS president Paban Singh Ghatowar as to how Mohsin Riaz Ahmed was given the appointment without any interview when there were several applicants for the post.

In a memorandum submitted to the ACMS, the students� body also asked the ACMS leaders why they were collecting Rs 50 from tea garden workers.
