SHILLONG, April 20 - Northeast India Federation of Journalists (NIFJ), an umbrella body of journalists unions of North East affiliated to Indian Journalists Union (IJU) has strongly condemned the attack targeting Patricia Mukhim, a press release said.
NIFJ demands inquiry into the incident and has asked the Meghalaya Government to ensure safety and security of journalists in the State and to uphold the freedom of the press.
