ASTEC slogan writing contest results declared

GUWAHATI, Sept 14 - A slogan writing competition was organised by the Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC) among students of the city-based schools, with assistance from ENVIS-Hub Assam and NGC-Assam of the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), in connection with the World Ozone Day being celebrated on September 16, 2018.

The ASTEC today declared the results of the competition and said in a statement that in the English section the slogan written by Gargi Borah of Gurukul Grammar Senior Secondary School has been adjudged as the best, while slogans written by Naba Kamal Barthakur of Little Flower School, Hatigaon and Indrani Rabha of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Panikhaiti have been adjudged as the second and third best respectively.

In the Assamese section, the slogan written by Nilakhi Kalita of Srimanta Sankar Academy, Dispur has been adjudged as the best, while the slogans written by Rahi Deka of Delhi Public School and Fardina Saleh of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri have respectively been adjudged as the second and third best.

In the Hindi section, the slogan written by Priyanka Medhi of Shankardev Shishu Niketan, Beltola has been adjudged as the best. The slogans written by Gyanushree Khound of Maria�s Public School and Priyangsu Pratim Bora of Sudershen Public School have been respectively adjudged as the second and third best in this section, said the Council.
