Assam earn 3 points against Chhattisgarh

TINSUKIA, Oct 27 - Assam earned three points against Chhattisgarh in their U-23 Col CK Nayudu Trophy cricket match played at TDSA Katchujan field here by dint of first innings lead of 48 runs.

Despite valiant fights by AA Toppo (94) and AJ Mandal, Chhattisgarh in their first innings were all out for 350 runs on the last day of the match today. For Assam, Mantu Das claimed three wickets, while Jogeswer and Avoy Kumar snapped two wickets each.

In their second innings Assam were 86 runs for three wickets in 35 overs when the play was called off.
