Arunachal�s COVID toll rises to 46

ITANAGAR, Nov 9 - Arunachal Pradesh recorded one more COVID-19 death, taking the state�s toll to 46, a health official said on Monday.

�A 60-year-old man from Naharlagun�s Model Village expired on Sunday on his way to the Dedicated COVID Hospital, Chimpu. He was detected as COVID-19 positive through Rapid Antigen Test at Flu Clinic, Niba Hospital, Naharlagun and died due to septic shock. He was suffering from chronic liver disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,� said State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa.

The state on Sunday registered 47 new cases that took the total confirmed cases to 15,436, according to the Directorate of Health Services. The number of recovered cases rose to 13,881.
