Arunachal�s 2nd Women Police Station opened at Seppa

ITANAGAR, Nov 5 - The second Women�s Police Station of Arunachal Pradesh, after Itanagar, was inaugurated at Seppa, the headquarters of East Kameng district, on Sunday.

The new police station was inaugurated by Minister of Home, UD, Labour and Employment Kumar Waii in presence of local MLA Tapuk Taku, Director General of Police SBK Singh, East Kameng Deputy Commissioner Gaurav Singh Rajawat and others.

The Home Minister asked the police personnel to perform their duty with utmost sincerity. He also emphasised on reinforcing the public-police relationship.

The decision to open three women police stations, including the one at Seppa and two others at Itanagar and Tezu, was announced in this year�s budget.
