SILCHAR, Oct 3: Following the confirmation of the nationality and the sanction of necessary travel permit by the Myanmarese authorities in consultation with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, the Home and Political Department of the State government has made arrangements for the repatriation of seven Rohingya nationals from the Silchar Central Jail.
Accordingly, the seven nationals were taken out of the jail campus on Wednesday morning under heavy security cover.
