GUWAHATI, Oct 9 - Agricultural Secretary and Director of Agriculture Juri Phukan has asked all district agricultural officers to take necessary action by alerting their field staff for keeping constant vigil at farm lands during the Durga Puja period.
The direction came in view of the second occurrence of army worm in the paddy fields of Udalguri, Darrang and Jorhat districts, said a statement.
