Army saves bus

GUWAHATI, Sept 10 - In a bold and timely action, the EME Battalion of the Indian Army rescued a civil bus from falling into a gorge. The incident happened on Sept 4, when the driver while trying to skirt some rubble lost control and the bus went off the road, according to a press release.

The bus was moving from Bame to Bararupak village in Arunachal Pradesh. The driver and the passengers got time to escape without any injury or casualty. On being informed the EME Battalion personnel undertook a recovery operation and recovered the bus.
