GUWAHATI, Sept 27 - An Indian Army helicopter crashed near Yongfhulla in Bhutan, killing both the pilots, including one from Royal Bhutan Army. The single engine Cheetah helicopter had two pilots on board. �It went out of radio and visual contact soon after 1 pm.
It was on its way from Khirmu in Arunanchal to Yongfhulla on duty. Ground search was launched immediately from Yongfulla.
The wreckage has been located.
IAF and Army helicopters from Misamari, Guwahati and Hashimara also launched the search,� defence spokesman Wing Commander Ratnakar Singh said.
There were two pilots on board and both succumbed to injuries.
They were identified as Lt Col Rajneesh Parmar of Indian Army and Captain Kalzang Wangdi of Royal Bhutan Army.
