GUWAHATI, Sept 25 - The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) will celebrate Gandhi Jayanti here on October 2 with an elaborate programme. On the occasion, it will organise a central programme at Rajiv Bhawan.
Senior Gandhian Natwar Thakkar will deliver a lecture on the Father of the Nation.
The district and block Congress committees will also hold all-faith prayers, cleanliness drives, commemorative meetings, etc, and will also illuminate the premises of their offices with earthen lamps in the evening.
