GUWAHATI, Nov 26 � In a landmark development, the Qoumi madrassa students of Islampur, Guwahati Markazul Uloom Madrassa have started to sing the National anthem and the Assam State anthem in the premises of the Madrassa.
The initiative has been taken by journalist Afrida Hussain and Maulana Hilaluddin Kasimi. It will start regularly from November 27 at the time of the prayer period, Afrida Hussain said in a statement.
