NILAMBAZAR, July 10 - The District Advocates� Bar and the Karimganj Bar Association will jointly go on an indefinite strike from Monday against the Foreigners Tribunal Court.
Both the advocate bars decided to refrain from work in the court till KK Gupta, Member, Foreigners Tribunal (1) is transferred.
Earlier, both the bars jointly submitted a memorandum demanding the immediate transfer of the member from Karimganj for his alleged detrimental activities. The memorandum was forwarded to the Governor, Chief Minister, Secretary of Home and Law Affairs and District Judge Karimganj, but the advocate bars have not received any response till date.
