Adventure camp in city begins

GUWAHATI, March 24: The three-day All Assam Adventure Camp, organised by the Assam Rock and Sports Climbing Association (ARSCA), began at the 4th AP Bn campus here today.

Altogether 40 boys and girls from different places of the State are taking part in the camp where basic training will be imparted in sports climbing, rock climbing, water sports, high rope activities among others under the watchful eyes of Everester Tarun Saikia and other experienced trainers.

ARSCA vice president Bipul Pathak, senior mountaineers Kanak Deka, Ajit Kalita, along with a host of mountaineers were present in the opening ceremony.
