Acharya urges NE people to be proud of their culture

DIMAPUR, Aug 27 - Nagaland Governor PB Acharya has called upon the NAMASTE states (Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Assam, Sikkim and Tripura) to be proud of their languages and cultures and utilise the skills and knowledge that they have for development of North East.

Acharya was addressing an interactive session with people from NE in Chennai on Sunday, PRO Raj Bhavan said in a release on Monday.

The Governor asked the NE community in Chennai to be proud of their heritage and urged the educated and skilled people to utilise their skills and knowledge for the uplift of the community in the region.

The interactive session was attended by NE community members, including students and professionals, working in Chennai.
