GUWAHATI, June 26 - Assam will soon get an One-Day International (ODI) match as the BCCI has announced the Assam Cricket Association�s (ACA) Barsapara stadium as fit to host international matches.
The ACA secretary Pradip Buragohain, while talking to The Assam Tribune from Mumbai said, ACA�s issue on international matches was discussed in the seventh agenda of the Special General Meeting (SGM) of the Indian cricket board (BCCI) held in Mumbai today. Buragohain, however, sought time to host an international match as some works are yet to be completed in the stadium. He further revealed that a BCCI panel will be formed to allot international matches of the coming home series.
