AASU pays homage to firing victims

GUWAHATI, Dec 14 - An AASU delegation, comprising its president Dipanka Kumar Nath, general secretary Lurinjyoti Gogoi and chief adviser Samujjal Bhattacharyya, today visited the families of Dipanjal Das and Sam Stafford who died in police firing during the anti-CAA agitation in Guwahati on Thursday.

The AASU team went to the house of Das in Chhaygaon Doloipara and Stafford�s residence at Hatigaon here, and paid tributes to the departed souls. The AASU team also visited the family of Debajit Bhuyan of Mirza who died in a road accident while returning from a torchlight rally organised by South Kamrup Students� Union yesterday.
