GUWAHATI, May 19 - The All Assam Students� Union (AASU) today congratulated BJP leader and former AASU president Sarbananda Sonowal on getting a clear mandate from the people of Assam.
AASU president Dipanka Kumar Nath and general secretary Lurin Jyoti Gogoi urged him to address the key issues of the State, including a time-bound action plan for implementation of the Assam Accord, Constitutional safeguard for the indigenous people, a secure future for the students and other burning issues.
