AASU for steps to restore peace

GUWAHATI, Aug 7 � The All Assam Students� Union (AASU) today said that Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi must take stern steps to deal with the situation in the trouble-torn districts of BTAD.

�The situation in districts like Kokrajhar, Chirang and Dhubri districts have not improved because the Chief Minister has so far failed to take stern and concrete steps,� the AASU said through a statement issued to media this evening.
