SHILLONG, Feb 24 - A nine-year-old boy was killed on the spot when he was suddenly hit by a vehicle at Nongpoh in Meghalaya.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when the boy � identified as Ripu Nongrum � was trying to cross the NH-6 at Nongpoh near Alpha HS School.
He was hit by a speeding vehicle whose driver did not even stop to check on the boy.
