68 new cases in Arunachal

ITANAGAR, July 22 - With the detection of 68 new cases of COVID-19 with the Itanagar Capital Complex accounting for 57 of them, the virus tally of Arunachal Pradesh rose to 858 on Tuesday, a bulletin issued by the State Directorate of Health Services here stated.

Fifty-one of the 57 cases reported in the Itanagar Capital Complex were detected through antigen tests and include 17 from Donyi Polo Ashoka, Itanagar, 18 from F and G sectors, Naharlagun, eight from Naharlagun Police Station, five from C-sector, Naharlagun, and one each from RK Mission Hospital, Itanagar, Damsite, Naharlagun and GSS, Nirjuli.

Six cases were found through RT-PCR tests that include one each from Naharlagun�s G-sector, Upper Police Colony and Papu Nallah, Nirjuli, Naharlagun and near Don Bosco, Itanagar.

Of the remaining 11 cases, three were reported from Namsai (all returnees detected in a quarantine facility), six from Lower Subansiri (including two returnees and four detected outside quarantine facility) and one each from Chiputa (Papum Pare) and Lower Dibang Valley.
