DOOMDOOMA , Oct 11 - A 6.5 kg tumour was removed from the stomach of a patient through surgery at Doomdooma Polyclinic and Nursing Home here last evening.
According to information, a patient came to the nursing home with a complaint of severe stomach pain. Her abdomen was also swollen. Dr PJ Deka, the director of the nursing home examined the patient and a series of tests were conducted in which the tumour was detected. The patient was operated last evening by team of doctors led by Dr PJ Deka and removed the tumour successfully. The other doctors of the team were Dr SK Shyam and Dr Kalyan Sharma.
