6 bodies of Chirang camp inmates found

BONGAIGAON, Aug 25 � Six bodies of camp inmates, who were the residents of Rajpara near Amguri Bazar, have been recovered from a village under Bijni P.S in Chirang district this evening. As per police sources, already three bodies have been identified as that of Jaharuddin Ali (20), Mansur Mandal(20) and Nurjamal Mandal (28).

According to locals, six inmates of Amguri relief camp were coming towards Bijni with two Tata Mobile vehicles (bearing registration number AS-19/0571 and As-19/4550), to take better shelter in some of their relatives� houses, when miscreants attacked them on the way with sharp weapons at around 5 pm this evening between Malipara and Chaudhurypara under Bijni subdivision in the district. Considering deteriorated situation the D.C has enforced indefinite curfew in Chirang district from this evening. The bodies have been brought to Bijni PS.
