DIBRUGARH, May 17 � LIC Development Officer (DO) Barun Hazarika of the city here and his daughter Paulomi Hazarika died on the spot in a road accident on NH 37 at Latabari near Bokakhat PS while his wife Mintu Hazarika and minor son Ankhu Hazarika sustained severe injuries when their Indigo (AS06L 0091) collided with a dumper coming from the opposite direction. LIC Development Officers and LIC agents here have expressed shock over the incident.
Our Rangiya correspondent adds: Three persons � Manomati Kalita, Kanaklata Kalita and her infant son Sagar Kalita were killed on the spot when the tempo (AS-28-C-0640) they were travelling in was hit by a speeding truck at Maranjana under Rangiya PS this afternoon. Four others were injured in the incident.
