3 NSCN activists killed

GOLAGHAT, April 7 � The local people living in the border area of the Assam-Nagaland killed three NSCN members recently for demanding money from the people and the labourers.

This incident has created great sensation and the NSCN members in protest against the killings had camped near the spot and began to get involved in unsocial activities. The Dhansiri subdivision authority had prevented the labourers to work in a stone quarry at Napani area near Doyang river for fearing group clash with the Nagas.

The border magistrate Bipul Kumar Das, Suraj Kumar Paul, SDPO, and CRPF personnel had discussed the situation.

The NSCN members in presence of the Bhandari subdivision administration of Nagaland cremated the dead bodies at Lifayan basti.
