TURA, Jan 12 - Three criminals, hailing from East Garo Hills district were arrested by police yesterday after they allegedly served a demand note of Rs 4.5 lakh to a businessman.
According to information received, the trio � Willbirth T Sangma, Wister N Marak and Salgra Ch Sangma had sent a bullet along with a demand note of Rs 4.5 lakh on Jan 9 to the businessman of Nangapa Bazar in East Garo Hills. The trio had allegedly served the demand note in the name of Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA).
