SHILLONG, June 30 - After rigorous training, 218 trainees were inducted into the Indian Army at the Assam Regimental Centre (ARC).
The young soldiers� induction was held in a grand manner during the attestation parade on Saturday at Parsons Parade Ground of the ARC here.
The parade was reviewed by Major General Pankaj Saxena in the presence of the parents and relatives of the trainees, who turned up in large numbers.
Major General Saxena lauded the passing out batch for their immaculate standards and urged the young soldiers from the North East to persevere in pursuit of excellence.
