JORABAT, June 16 - Personnel of the Jorabat Forest Beat Office have seized two trucks carrying stones without proper documents and impounded them for investigation.
The trucks were seized during the last two days.
Today, both the trucks bearing registration numbers AS 01KC 5725 and AS 01JC 6426, were handed over to the Divisional Forest Office for safe custody and further action.
Jorabat Forest Beat Officer (BO) Zintu M Talukdar informed that his team has increased vigil and patrolling for nearly 10 days, which resulted in seizure of the two trucks without proper documents that were trying to flee. �The vigil will continue,� the BO added.
