GUWAHATI, Dec 26 - Dispur police today arrested two persons in connection with a stabbing case registered at the police station recently.
The two accused, identified as Ronald Baruah and Reetiz Engti, had allegedly stabbed an Indian Air Force officer outside a bar on GS Road on the night of December 13. A police source said that the officer and four of his companions had an argument with two persons inside a bar on GS Road.
�The two persons were reportedly evicted by the bar�s employees after the argument, but the IAF officer and his friends came out of the pub some time later and engaged in a brawl with the two persons. Consequently the officer was injured,� the source said.
�The officer was shifted to a private hospital located nearby where he was treated for his wounds. He is stable now,� he added.
