NORTH LAKHIMPUR, Sept 26 - Laluk police has arrested two persons for illegally transporting 14 cattle on a vehicle from Lakhimpur to Arunachal Pradesh.
The bovines were being transported in a pick-up truck in a cramped condition due to which two animals died.
Two persons � identified as Ziabur Ali and Atiqul Islam � were arrested from the vehicle, a Bolero pick-up bearing registration number AS-07-AC-5824.
The cattle were being transported from Boginadi in Lakhimpur district to Doimukh in Arunachal Pradesh without proper documents.
