17 more test positive in Nalbari dist

NALBARI, July 10 - The COVID-19 pandemic is fast spreading to new areas of Nalbari district during the last three days.

A total of 17 persons have tested COVID-19 positive during the last 24 hours.

Yesterday, 20 persons tested positive in the district. Two persons who tested positive have been shifted to GMCH and a private hospital for better treatment.

Besides, 38 positive patients have been released from hospitals in the district so far.

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases rose to 148 till the filing of this report.

Nalbari Swahid Mukunda Kakati COVID Hospital�s nodal officer Dr Ranjan Bhattacharya said the hospital is planning to discharge 16 patients as their swab test reports have consecutively come as negative. These patients are likely to be discharged tomorrow.
